SSC GD Exam Date 2025: The Staff Selection Commission has released the exam dates for SSC GD 2025. It is scheduled to be held in February 2025. Candidates gearing up to appear for the exam can check the official notice at ssc.gov.in.

According to the schedule, the SSC GD 2025 exam will take place from February 4 to 25, 2025, at various designated centers across the country. The application status will be released in the last week of January 2025, and the admit card will be issued four days prior to the exam date.

SSC aims to fill 39,481 General Duty Constable vacancies in the Indian Para Military forces through this recruitment drive. Candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written exam, PET & PST, and document verification.

SSC GD Exam Date 2025

SSC conducts the SSC GD exam annually to select candidates for General Duty Constable positions in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, SSF, and NCB. This year, the commission is conducting the SSC GD exam to fill 39,481 vacancies. The exam is scheduled to be held on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st, 24th, and 25th February 2025 in four shifts. SSC GD Exam Schedule 2025: Shift Timings

The commission has not yet announced the shift timings. However, based on last year's schedule, the exam was conducted in four shifts, and it is expected to be held in three shifts this year as well, on all the exam dates. Check the SSC GD shift timings in the table below.

SSC GD Admit Card 2025 Release Date

The commission releases the SSC GD Constable admit card separately for each of the nine regions, typically four days before the exam date. So, it is expected to be released in the last week of January 2025. Candidates who have successfully registered can download their hall ticket using their registration number and password.

Before issuing the admit card, the commission will provide the application status, informing candidates whether their application has been accepted. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official website for the latest updates.

SSC GD 2025 Exam Pattern

SSC GD 2025 exam consists of four main subjects: General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. Each subject contains 20 questions, with each question carrying a maximum of 2 marks, making the total maximum marks for the exam 160. There is a negative marking of 0.50 for every wrong answer.
