SSC Stenographer Age Relaxation

SSC Stenographer Educational Qualification 2024
Another important factor of the SSC Stenographer Eligibility Criteria is educational qualification. According to the official notification, candidates must have passed the 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.
All selected candidates called for document verification by the User Department/Organization will be required to produce the necessary certificates, such as mark sheets for all years, 12th standard or equivalent examination certificates, provisional certificates, etc., in original, on or before the cut-off date. Failure to produce the required documents will result in the cancellation of the candidate's candidature by the User Department/Organization.

SSC Stenographer 2024 Eligibility: Nationality
Apart from knowing the SSC Stenographer Eligibility, candidates must know their nationality before submitting the form. A candidate must be either:
(a) a citizen of India, or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
SSC Stenographer Eligibility 2024: Reservation Benefits
- As per extant Government Orders, reservations for Scheduled Castes (SC)/Scheduled Tribes (ST)/Other Backward Classes (OBC)/Economically Weaker Sections (EWSs)/ Ex-Serviceman (ESM) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) have been determined and communicated by the Indenting Organizations/Offices to the Commission.
- Ex-Serviceman candidates shall be eligible for reservation only for the Group ‘C’ post (Stenographer Gr ‘D’) as per extant Government Order/Instructions.
SSC Stenographer Eligibility for Physically Handicapped Candidates
In the case of persons with benchmark disabilities in the category of blindness, locomotor disability (both arms affected-BA) and cerebral palsy, the facility of a scribe is given, if desired by the candidate. The facility of scribe will also be given to PwD candidates having disability of not more than 40% and having difficulty in writing.
