Based in Kolkata, the company provides Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO) services such as litigation support, legal research and analysis, database management, corporate due diligence, intellectual property research and filing, document review, drafting and other related services.

"Our forte is legal research which is considered to be a high-end service in the value chain of the LPO sector", explains Arun. ORP was established in 2009 with a threelawyer team. At present the organisation has 15 lawyers and plans to double this number in the next few months. "I always wanted to be a part of an organisation which I could call my own. Starting up my own venture seemed the best way to achieve that. LPO is still a nascent industry and in spite of the presence of a few big players, there is enough scope to create a niche yourself," he says.

Within this short span of time strategic alliances and partnerships have been developed with organisations across North America and Europe. "Presently, we have liaison offices in Chicago and New Delhi and we are planning to set up a fully functional onshore office in Chicago by the end of 2011," says Arun.

• Arun is a law graduate from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Kolkata. The organisation started in October 2009 and is based in Kolkatta.
