At a young age of 13, Suhas Gopinath, a web-developer started out as a freelancer, designing websites. By the time he was 14, he entered the world of entrepreneurship and started his own company, Globals Inc. At 17, he was recognised as the world's youngest CEO by the Limca book of Records. Now at 24, he has catapulted his company into a multi-million dollar venture.

"We have already expanded our branches within India with presence in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Cochin, and I could say we are truly a global company with worldwide presence now in about 11 countries with major operations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and USA," continues Gopinath, "We now plan to expand in the Middle East and Africa".

The journey has not been easy for this whiz-kid, coming from a non-business family, Gopinath faced difficulties in setting up a company and hiring people. He has to set up the company in California as the Indian laws did not permit him to do so. Globals Inc. is an IT provider that provides solutions in web, e-commerce, and mobile. The company provides applications on the web for various industries including education, finance, and governments.

Gopinath, who is motivated by the success path of Bill Gates says, "The driving force for me was to build innovative solutions for education and finance verticals and to become a gamechanger in the IT industry. The motto is to offer jobs to the eligible youth and till date we have recruited people, based on their skill sets and not their academics."

• Gopinath set up the company 10 years back in California. He has completed a diploma in public leadership.

• He believes that one should always pursue their dream with passion and vision while having the fire in their belly to excel.
