Eligibility Criteria
Educational qualification
- Officer Scale I: Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is essential and knowledge of English is required; Preference will be given to candidates with Computer Knowledge (MS DOS, MS Word, MS Excel, Networking etc.). Candidates with higher qualifications in Engineering/ Business Administration/ Law/ Agriculture/ Veterinary Science/ MSc Computer Science/ M.CS. Charted Accountant/ Horticulture/ Marketing etc. will get preference at the time of interview
- Office Assistant: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent OR Pass with 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in Higher Secondary examination of 10+2+3 pattern/ XI (11th) standard of XI(11th)+3 pattern/pre-degree or intermediate or any equivalent examination; OR iii) Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State Governments or Union Territory; OR iv) Pass with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in matriculation/ Senior School Certificate (old pattern) or equivalent;. Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is essential; Preference will be given to candidates with Computer Knowledge.
Age Limit (as on 31 March 2011): Between 18 years and 26 years (for both posts)

- Pay Scale for JM Scale-I: Rs 14,500- 600/7-18700- 700/2- 20100- 800/7- 25700
- Pay Scale for Office Assistant: 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300- 700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300
Application Fee: Application fee (Officer Scale I) is Rs 400 for General and OBC category candidates and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates is Rs 50. Application fee (Office Assistant) is Rs 350 for General and OBC category candidates and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates is Rs 50.
Candidate should download one of the Challan Formats (as applicable to them for the post applied for) from the Bank's website http://www.surgujakgb.co.in/ After filling up the required information on the form, they should make payment of the fee applicable to them in any branch of Central Bank of India. In the under mentioned accounts at Central Bank of India, Ambikapur Branch in Chhattisgarh state and should keep the ‘Candidate's Copy' of the Challan with receipt of fees duly acknowledged thereon.

Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will be called for written test and interview.
How to Apply
‘Candidate's Copy' of the Challan with receipt of fees duly acknowledged thereon, with them for producing the same at the time of written test along with the latest passport size photograph pasted on the Challan and signed across by the candidate. Candidates claiming fee concession should also enclose photocopy of the relevant category certificate, along with the Challan.
Important Note: Candidates will not be permitted to appear at the written test without production of this Challan and Photograph.
