Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC Tester & Asst Tester Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
- Tester: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering of any recognized Institution or Board and Practical experience for a period of one year in the field of Electrical Testing in the case of degree holders and three years in the case of diploma holders in a recognized concern.
- Assistant Tester: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering of any recognized Institution or Board and Practical experience for a period of six months in the field of electrical Testing in the case of degree holders and one and half years in the case of diploma holders in the recognized concern.
Age Limit for Tester & Asst Tester Posts:
- Others [i.e. Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (OBCMs) and BCMs]: 18-35 years
- SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs (OBCMs) BCMs and DWs of all Castes: No Max age limit
Selection Process for TNPSC Tester & Asst Tester Posts
Selection will be made in two successive stages i.e., (i) Written Examination and (ii) Oral Test in the form of an interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of total marks obtained by the candidates at the Written Examination and Oral Test taken together subject to the rule of reservation of appointments.
