Tripura Public Service Commission Notified Recruitment for 60 Grade-II Posts

Tripura Public Service Commission notified  recruitment to 60 Grade-II  posts in Tripura Civil Services (TCS) and  Tripura Police Services  (TPS) (Group-A) Gazetted, through a Competitive Examination.

Name of Post and No. of. Vacancies:

1.  TCS GRADE-II:  35 posts

2.  TPS GRADE-II: 25 posts

Pay Scale: Rs.13575 - 37000 and Grade Pay of Rs.3700 in Pay Band 4.

Last Date for receiving application:  05 October 2012 (1700 hrs)

Age Limit (as reckoned on 01/09/2012):  Minimum 21 years

Maximum 40 years (Relaxed by 5 years for SC/ ST/ PH candidates and Government servants)

(Any other relaxation admissible for competitive examinations is applicable) 

Recruitment Fees: Rs.200 (for General Candidates) and Rs.150 (for SC / ST / BPL card holders / PH Candidates.  

(SC/ST Candidates of other States should apply as general candidate & deposit recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates.) 

NOTE:  The application form can be obtained from Tripura Gramin Bank Branches / Extensions counters on deposit of the prescribed Fee in a/c no. 14711 of the Banks’ Agartala branch through a Bank Deposit Receipt issued in favour of “The Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission”.

Candidates from other states and those using downloaded form should deposit the fee in State Bank of India (core banking branches) a/c no. 31176521319 through the bank deposit receipt issued in favour of “The Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission”.

The Bank deposit Receipt should be affixed with the application form.

Educational Qualification:  Graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. 

Physical Fitness & Medical Examination: Any candidate called for the personality Test by the Commission may be required to undergo the Medical Examination.  A candidate who does not satisy the prescribed Physical Fitness & Medical Examination norms set by the Government or the Appointing Authority, as the case may be, will not be appointed.

Choice of Center: The Preliminary Examination will be held at either of the 03 (three) Centers:

(i) Agartala

(ii) Kailashahar and

(iii) Udaipur

Candidates are required to choose any one of these and mention it in the prescribed column on the Application Form. If a candidate, however, does not mention name of  center in his/her Application Form the Commission at its discretion will allot a center. The Commission also reserves the right to change the Center opted by the Candidate.

The applications can be submitted either in person or by post. Duly filled-in application should reach “The Secretary, Tripura Public Service Commission, Akhaura Road, Agartala - 799001, West Tripura” on or before the last date of submission of application.

While sending by post, the envelope should be super-scribed “Application for the post of..........”.

The Commission, in no case, will be responsible for non-receipt / delay in receipt of applications on any account. Incomplete applications / applications received after the last date will be rejected.
