Two Indian Institute made it to World’s Top 200 for the First Time

    In the list of 200 top universities around the world there is a mention of two Indian institutes, which is a first in the history of Indian education. IISB and IIT have stood at 147th and 179th in the overall list of top 200 universities around the world. IIT Delhi has made great progress as it was ranked 235th in the world last year.

    Among the global 400 World University Ranking list though there are 14 Indian Institutions in total. The list QS World University Rankings 2015 have pointed out that University of Delhi and even University of Mumbai couldn’t have found their place in the top rankings.

    Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been crowned the unprecedented number one in the list which is closely followed by Harvard. For the third place there is a tie between Stanford University and University of Cambridge. In the top 50 there are four universities from London, which has become the only city in the world to achieve the feat.
