UDD, Jharkhand Notified Recruitment Professionals for RAY

Urban Development Department (UDD), Jharkhand issued notification for recruitment of 10 Town Planning Specialist and Project Engineering Specialist to the Slum Free City Planning Cell on contractual basis initially for a period of one year.

The Slum Free City Planning Cell is to be constituted in the Directorate of Municipal Administration, Urban Development Department, Project Building, Dhurwa, Ranchi and at the cell in Municipal Corporation / Municipalities of four cities -- Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, and Chas as per the terms of provisions of Rajiv Awas Yojna (RAY) of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, Government of India.

All the posts are coterminous with the Slum Free State / City Planning Schemes. Interested eligible candidates can send their application till 17 November 2012.

Pay:

Selected candidates will be paid a consolidated amount of Rs.45000 per month as remuneration.

Selection Procedure:

Final selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

Candidates shortlisted for Interview would be intimated by the concerned urban local body (ULB) in due course to appear before the interview board for final selection. The successful candidates will have to sign a contractual agreement in the prescribed format. The contract shall not confer any right or claim of extension/absorption in the department / ULB.

NOTE:

The appointment of professionals as Specialists will be purely on annual contract basis for a period not more than the project period as decided by the Government of India and will be renewed annually based on performance, output and desired impacts.

Those applying for city level cell at Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur and Chas should send their application in the prescribed format along with copies of relevant certificates to the Chief Executive Officer / Executive Officer of the respective Municipal Corporation / Municipalities through registered post/speed post/courier so as to reach the office on or before 17 November 2012.
