UGC on 29 March 2013 announced result for Baden Wurttemberg Fellowship under Indo-German CEP. A total of 4 candidates across various streams are recommended to Visit South Asia Institute, Heidelberg (Germany) for 3 months.
These selected candidates include Dr. Koushik Bose (Associate Professor) from Vidyasagar University, Midnapur-West Bengal; M. Indira (Professor) Department of Economics, University of Mysore- Karnataka; Prof. Parul Dave Mukherji (Professor & Dean) School of Arts and Aesthetics, Jawaharlal Nehru University- Delhi and Dr. Anil Kumar Mohapatra (Lecturer), PG Department of Political Science, Utkal University- Bhubaneswar.
Selected candidates should send their acceptance towards the award to the UGC, in written, along with details of their tentative tour programme. The details of the tour programme should be duly countersigned and stamped by the University/ College for obtaining Political and Security Clearance from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs respectively by the Commission.
The selected candidate will be on a three month (annually) visit and work to South-Asia Institute in Heidelberg, Germany. In addition, they will be provided to-and-fro air fare as well as allowances to cover board, lodging, incidentals and local transport by the German side during his/her visit to Germany as per provisions of Indo-German CEP.
It is to be noted by the University/Institution nominating the teacher that they will have to provide him/ her with full salary and allowances for the duration of visit and would treat him/ her as ‘On Duty’ without any contribution from UGC towards the salary of the teacher.
