As scheduled, the University Grant Commission (UGC) is all set to conduct the NET June 2013 examination on coming Sunday i.e., 30th June. Centers for the exam have been uploaded by the coordinating universities/colleges. Candidates are advised to check out their exam venue on websites of their respective test center universities/colleges.
For example, candidates who opted for the Delhi center at Kirori Mal College can check out their exam venue on the official website of Kirori Mal College, University of Delhi by clicking on the Latest@KMC section.

The University Grants Commission (UGC) conducts National Eligibility Test (NET) twice in a year in the months of June and December to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the Lectureship only and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or both for teaching in Indian universities and colleges.

The result of the UGC-NET to be held on 30th June 2013 will be made available on the UGC websites: http://www.ugc.ac.in and http://www.ugcnetonline.in as and when they are declared.
Candidates who will qualify for Junior Research Fellowship will be eligible to undertake research in the subject of their post-graduation or in a related subject in any of Indian Universities/Colleges as well as they will also eligible for lectureship anywhere in India. However, candidates qualifying for Lectureship only will not be considered for the award of JRF.
