UGC New Delhi Notified Award of 300 National Fellowship (NF) for OBC 2015

University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi invites online application from eligible candidates for ‘National Fellowship (NF)’ for Other Backward Classes (OBC) for the year 2014 – 15. The candidates eligible for the award of National Fellowship may apply on or before 10 February 2015.

Eligibility Criteria 

• Educational Qualification Candidate must possess Post- Graduate Degree in the concerned subject from the recognized University. Unemployed Students belonging to OBC who are already registered to continue higher studies like M. Phil and Ph. D Degree (full time) in Science, Humanities & Social Sciences and Engineering & Technology are eligible to apply for this fellowship.
• Age Limit Age Limit for the candidate and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

Fellowship Amount

Candidate will get the Fellowship of Rs. 16,000/- Per Month for initial 02 (two) years and Rs. 18,000/- Per Month for remaining tenure, as per UGC norms through e-payment under DBT.

Tenure

Fellowship is initially for the period of 02 (two) years under NF scheme and can be extended further for the period of 03 (three) years on the basis of satisfactory performance.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of Merit, which will be taken by the Selection Committee.
