Eligibility Criteria for Chair Professor, Professor and Other Posts
- Assistant Professor - Good academic record as defined by the concerned University with at least 55% marks at the Masters Degree level; he candidate must have cleared the Nationat Eligibilify Test (NET) conducted by the UGC (CSIR) or similar test accredited by the UGC like NET/SLET/SET.
- Associate Professor- Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concemed/ allied/ relevant disciplines
- Professor- An eminent scholar with consistently good academic record and a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant discipline with a number ofhigh quality research publications in reputed journals and / or publication of books; At least l0 years'experience in University/ College and/ or experience in research in university/ reputed research institutions/ industries.
