UP Police Physical Test: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has declared the results of the UP Police Constable 2024 examination on its official website, uppbpb.gov.in. A total of 1,74,316 candidates have surpassed the prescribed cut-off marks. The shortlisted candidates will now proceed to the next stage, which is UP Police PET PST. The board is expected to announce the dates and release admit cards for the Physical Test round shortly.

The UP Police Constable Physical Eligibility Test (PET) assesses candidates’ physical fitness through two stages: the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). UP Police Physical Test: What is UPPRPB Constable Police PET?

Male and female candidates must complete these tasks within specified time limits, but the requirements differ for each gender. Candidates who clear these stages will be recruited as Constables in the Uttar Pradesh Police Force. UP Police PET consists of two stages:

DV PST Full Form

DV stands for Document Verification, and PST refers to the Physical Standard Test. These are crucial stages conducted to ensure candidates meet the required eligibility criteria and physical standards for the respective roles. During DV, candidates' original documents, such as educational certificates, identity proofs, and caste certificates, are thoroughly verified. The PST assesses candidates' physical measurements, including height, chest (for male candidates), and other category-specific requirements, to ensure they align with the prescribed standards.

 

UP Police Constable PST

UPPRPB conducted the UP Police Constable Exam on 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st August 2024, in two shifts each day. More than 28.91 lakh candidates appeared for the exam, with over 1.17 lakh candidates successfully qualifying. UP Police Constable Height

The authorities have outlined specific height requirements for candidates applying for the UP Police Constable post. For male candidates belonging to the UR, OBC, and SC categories, the minimum UP Police height required is 168 cm, while for ST male candidates, it is 160 cm. Female candidates from the UR, OBC, and SC categories must meet a minimum height of 152 cm, whereas ST female candidates need to have a minimum height of 147 cm.

Male candidates from the UR, OBC, and SC categories must have a chest measurement of at least 79 cm unexpanded and 84 cm when expanded. For male candidates belonging to the ST category, the minimum chest requirement is 77 cm unexpanded and 82 cm expanded.

UP Police Running Time

The UP Police Constable Physical Test (PET) requires candidates to run a specific distance within a set time limit. For male candidates, the required distance is 4.8 kilometres, which must be completed within 25 minutes. Female candidates, on the other hand, need to run a distance of 2.4 kilometres within 14 minutes to meet the physical eligibility standards.
