Exam dates for University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT-2015) has been announced by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun. UPESEAT is the admission test conducted by UPES, every year for admission to Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses offered in various disciplines, Bachelor of Planning (B.Plan) and Bachelor of Design (B.Des).
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) was established in the year 2003 through UPES Act, 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. UPES offers specialized graduate, post graduate and doctoral programs in areas like Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology and Legal Process.

Eligibility Criteria:
For B.Tech Programs:

  1. Candidates should have 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th).
  2. Candidates with minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at senior secondary level (12th) can also apply.

For B.Des Programs:
Candidates should have minimum 50% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th and 12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level (12th).
 
Age  criteria:
Only candidates whose date of birth falls on or after October 1, 1993 are eligible to apply for admission. Date of Birth as recorded in the Secondary Education Board/University certificate only will be taken as authentic.
Note: Upto 20% seats shall be filled through Board Merit / JEE Main Merit category. Incase candidates for such seats are not available; UPES has the right to fill these through UPES Examination. University also reserves the right to conduct further physical (paper pencil test) / online test for admission.
