How to Calculate Marks Using the UPESSC TET Answer Key
Candidates can now calculate their marks using the answer key released provisionally with the following simple steps given below:
Step 1: Download the UPESSC TET Provisional Answer Key 2026 PDF according to your question paper and booklet series (A, B, C, or D).
Step 2: Compare each answer in the key with your answers marked on the OMR Sheet/ Memory based.
Step 3: Count the number of correct answers.
Step 4: Multiply it by 1, as there is no negative marking in UPESSC TET.
Step 5: Your total score will be the number of correct answers, which should be out of 150.
Step 6: Check if your score qualifies for the required marks: 90 out of 150 (60%) for the General category and 82 out of 150 (55%) for OBC, SC, ST, and PwBD candidates.

Candidates who come across any errors in the provisional answer key may raise objections online on the official website UPESSC, at upessc.up.gov.in. The objection period is from July 8 to 11, 2026. They also have submit the necessary documents and pay the required fees. Candidates can follow these steps to file any objections:

Step 3: Click on the "Objection" or "Challenge Answer Key" link.

Step 6: Pay the objection fee of ₹500 per question
