UPPRPB Re-Document Verification And Medical Test: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) declared that document verification and medical test for Constable and Fireman Recruitment Examination 2013 will be re-conducted for 13,479 qualified candidates. The decision has been made by the High Court on a writ petition filed, in the court, regarding the Horizontal reservation.

The document verification and medical test will be conducted on April 23, 2018 at eight different locations in the state including Allahabad, Agra, Bareilly, Gorakhpur, Kanpur Nagar, Lucknow, Meerut and Varanasi.

The admit card of 13,479 candidates will be sent through post and will also be made available on the official website from 14 April onwards. There are 4655 general candidates, 5977 other backward candidates, 2605 scheduled caste and 242 scheduled tribe candidates.

The board notified the recruitment of constable and firemen post against 41,610 vacancies in the UP police in 2013. The main examination was held on 14 December 2013 and the document verification and medical test of the selected candidates was conducted from 27 March 2015 to 13 April 2015. The final result was  announced on 16 July 2015.
