Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) announced the results of State/ Upper Subordinate Services Preliminary Examination for the year 2010. A total of 8715 candidates qualified the prelims. The main exam for 408 vacancies will be held from 1 August 2011.

The UPPSC exam was held on 2 May 2010 for which 1,88,300 applications were received by the Commission. Out of this, 1,34, 400 aspirants appeared for the examination.

Murlidhar Dubey, Controller of Examination, UPPSC Allahabad informed that the application letter for the mains will be dispatched to the qualified candidates. The last date to apply for the main exam is 27 June 2011.
