UPPCS Exam is one of the coveted Exams of Uttar Pradesh. UPPCS Mains Exam 2016 of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) will commence from 24th June 2016. Based on the present trend and Pattern of UPPCS Exam, we are suggesting some Tips and Strategies for the Preparation of UPPCS Mains Exam 2016. The aspirants have to adopt better strategies to crack this coveted exam where the competition is very high.

UPPSC UPPCS Main Exam has the Multiple choice pattern which makes it different and difficult from the UPSC IAS Exam. So, the aspirants may have the benefits of not writing subjective answers but they are required to know the factual details precisely in order to score in the factual questions. The pattern of UPPCS Exam 2016 is same as the pattern of UPPCS Mains Exams of last few years. There will be 8 Papers in total in 4 compulsory Papers and 4 Optional Papers of two optional subject.

Compulsory Papers

General Studies Paper I: Objective type questions carrying 200 marks.

General Studies Paper II: Objective type questions carrying 200 marks.

General Hindi: Subjective type questions carrying 150 Marks

Essay: The aspirants have to attempt 3 out of 9 questions carrying 150 marks in this paper and word limit for each question is 700.

Optional Subject Papers: The aspirants have to choose two optional subjects out of 33 in total subjects. Each optional subject will contain two papers and carrying 400 marks in each paper.

The UPPCS aspirants should read the syllabus of General Studies Paper I and General Studies Paper II thoroughly and they should make plan for the preparation accordingly.
