If you are the part of recruitment process for the various posts under UPSC & SSC examinations, then there is good news for you. Yes, UPSC & SSC will decide its all pending exam dates after May 3, the ending of lockdown across the country.
According to media reports, Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that government will take a call on rescheduled dates after the lockdown period is over. He said that those examination that were put on hold due to lockdown to be conducted by UPSC and SSC, will take a call after May 3 with giving sufficient time to all the aspirants to reach their designated examination centers.
It is noted that UPSC has released a short notification on April 15 and stated the postponement and deferment of all the due exams in the upcoming months. Commission has earlier postponed many examinations due to lockdown including the Civil Services 2019 Personality Tests (Interviews) which were supposed to be conducted between March 23 and April 3 were postponed.
Again with the extension of the lockdown period till May 3, UPSC has clarified that the interview dates for the remaining personality tests will be declared after May 3.
UPSC stated in the notification, "Dates for the Civil Services-2020 (Prelim), Engineering Services (Main) and the Geologist Services (Main) Examinations had already been announced. Any rescheduling in these examinations, if necessitated by the evolving situation, will be notified on the website of the UPSC"

According to media reports, SSC has also released short notification and said that the Commission will decide the examination dates for the hold examinations after May 3, 2020.
