UPSC CDS (II) Examination 2016: Written Exam Result Out; Check at upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission has declared the written examination result for Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2016. A total of 8563 candidates have qualified the examination. Candidates who appeared in the examination can check the respective results from the official site of UPSC.

The examination was held on 23 October 2016. The candidates who have qualified in the written examination will have to appear for interview. The interview will be conducted by Service Selection Board of the Ministry of Defence to fill up posts under (i) Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 143^rd Course commencing in July, 2017 (ii) Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, Kerala, Course commencing in July, 2017 (iii) Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course (202/16F/PC) commencing in July, 2017 (iv) Officers Training Academy, Chennai 106^th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in October, 2017 and (v) Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 20^th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course commencing in October, 2017.

The candidates who have qualified the written examination will have to register themselves online on the Indian Army official site at joinindianarmy.nic.in within 15 days from the announcement of written result.
