UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist & Geologist Examination 2016: Written Test result declared

UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2016 written test result has been declared. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can check the same from the details given below. The personality test for the qualified candidates will begin soon.

On the basis of the result of the written part of the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination-2016 held by the Union Public Service Commission in May, 2016, the candidates with the under mentioned Roll Numbers have qualified for Interview/Personality Test. Qualified candidates are required to fill up the DAF/ Detailed Application Form (21 July-29 July). The candidates are also required to bring the printed copy of the DAF duly signed (by the candidate) along with original documents and a photocopy each thereof at the time of interview. Interviews of candidates who have qualified for the Personality Test are tentatively scheduled to commence from the month of August, 2016. The exact date of interview will, however, be intimated to the candidates through Interview Letter/e-mail.

Important instructions regarding filling up of DAF

The candidate should also scan their relevant original documents as listed below in 200 dpi grey scale and convert to a single PDF file up to 2 MB, before filling in the online Detailed Application Form (DAF). The PDF file so created must not be password protected and it should be uploaded along with the online submission of DAF. Important documents to be scanned are: age certificate, career certificates, and certificates in support of claim to relaxation.

Originals of the above certificates are required to be produced along with self certified copies of all the documents at the time of interview or within the last day of interview. Click here to read detailed information regarding filling up of DAF

The mark-sheets of candidates who have not qualified the Combined Geo-Scientist and Geologist Examination 2016, will be put on the Commission’s Website within 15 days from the date of publication of the final result (after conducting Personality Test) and will remain available on the Website for a period of 60 days.
