UPSC IAS Result 2015 Declared, Available at upsc.gov.in, 1078 candidates selected

IAS Final Result Declared: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final result of Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2015 on 10 May 2016. Results are available at www.upsc.gov.in. A total of 1078 candidates have been recommended by the Commission for appointment.

Based on the results of the written part of Civil Services Examination, 2015 held by the Union Public Service Commission in December, 2015 and the interviews for Personality Test held in March-May, 2016, 1078 candidates have been selected, in order of merit, for appointment to:  Indian Administrative Service; Indian Foreign Service; Indian Police Service; and Central Services, Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B.

A total of 1078 candidates have been recommended against 1164 vacancies; candidature of 34 recommended candidates have been kept provisional.

The Commission has released notification for IAS Exam 2016 and the examination is scheduled to be held on 07 August 2016.
