Interested eligible candidates can apply online till 27 December 2012.

Details of Vacancies

While the post mentioned at Sl. No.10 is temporary, remaining posts (Sl. No. 1 to 9) are Permanent in nature.

[Age would be reckoned as on 27 December 2012. The age limit shown against all posts except at Sl. No 4 is normal age limit and is relaxable up to five years for SC / ST candidates and up to three years for OBC candidates in respect of vacancies reserved for them.]

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs.25 (Rupees Twenty Five) has to be paid either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI / Associate Banks by Cash OR through Net Banking Facility of SBI OR through Visa / Master Credit / Debit Card.
(SC / ST / PH / Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.)

Selection Procedure: Final selection would be done on the basis of candidates’ performance in the Interview.

In case, the number of applications received is large, Commission will adopt short listing criteria to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable number by any or more of the following methods:
(a) On the basis of higher educational qualifications;
(b) On the basis of higher experience in the relevant field;
(c) By counting experience before or after the acquisition of essential qualifications;  
(d) By holding a Recruitment Test.  
The candidate should, therefore, mention his/her all qualifications and experience in the relevant field over and above the minimum qualifications

Travelling Allowance: Commission will contribute towards the traveling and other expenses of candidates, called for interview, at a rate corresponding to the amount of the Second Class Mail railway fare by the shortest route to the place of interview from the Railway Station nearest to the place of residence of the candidate or from where he actually performs the journey, whichever, is nearer to the place of interview, and back to the same station or the amount of Railway fare actually incurred by the candidate whichever is less.  
Commission’s contribution towards the traveling expenses in respect of those candidates who are interviewed at Delhi will be paid on the date of interview itself. In respect of those candidates who have been called for interviews at places other than Delhi, the same will be sent by Money Order later on.
Candidates will be informed of the final result in due course through UPSC website/ Employment News.

How To Apply:
Candidate should apply online through Commissions’ website. After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), candidates are required to take its printout.
The printout along with copy of required documents/certificates should be sent to Joint Secretary (Recruitment), Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 on or before the prescribed last date. [Printout of the ORA along with specified documents/ certificates can be personally delivered “BY HAND” at the Commission Counter against proper receipt. ]
Words “Recruitment By Selection” should be super scribed on top of the Envelope.

Applicants are advised to submit only one ORA for each post. If, however, he/she submits multiple ORAs for a post, then the ORA with higher ‘Application Number’ would be entertained by the Commission. [Fee paid against one “Application Number” shall not be adjusted against any other “Application Number”.]

Candidates who apply for more than one post should fill separate ORA for each post and pay fee for each post.  Print out of each ORA along with copy of required documents/ certificates (separate set for every ORA form) should be sent to the Commissions’ office in separate envelope.

NOTE: Applications received after last date would be rejected, resulting in the rejection of concerned ORA. So, candidates are requested to fill the ORA at the earliest and send the printout to Commission’s office so as to reach the office on or before the last date. Commission will not be responsible for non-receipt of the ORA Printout or for any delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever.

Interested candidates should log on to UPSC website and follow the instructions to apply online.  Online Recruitment Applications must be submitted on or before 27 December 2012.
