Eligibility Criteria for Engineer & Other Posts

Educational Qualification:

1. Chief General Manager (Projects): Graduate in Civil Engineering. Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 18 years) in field working, Quality Control, Monitoring, Supervision etc. in relevant field in Govt./Semi. Govt./ Public Sector/reputed Ltd. Company. Has served atleast 3 years in a relevant post and grade immediately one level below the post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years in a relevant post and grade, immediately two levels below the post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years cumulatively in relevant posts, including the mandatory post and grade immediately one level below the post applied for.
2. General Manager: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 15 years) in appropriate field of Engineering including Designing Work, Quality control, Monitoring, Supervision etc. Atleast 5 years experience in Building Construction Work. Has served in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector/Reputed Ltd. Company Has served atleast 3 years in the relevant post and grade immediately below post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years in a relevant post and grade, immediately two levels below the post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years cumulatively in two relevant consecutive posts, including the post and grade immediately one level below the post applied for.
3. Project Manager: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 10 years) in relevant field. Atleast 5 years experience in Building Construction Work. Has served in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector/Reputed Ltd. Company. Has served atleast 3 years in the relevant post and grade immediately one level below post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years in a relevant post and grade, immediately two levels below the post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years cumulatively in two relevant consecutive posts, including the post and grade immediately one level below the post applied for.
4. Senior Resident Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 7 years) in relevant field. Atleast 3 years experience in Building Construction Work. Has served in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector/Reputed Ltd. Company. Has served atleast 3 years in a relevant post and grade immediately one level below the post applied for. OR (Only for Deputation) Has served atleast 6 years cumulatively, in relevant posts and grades, immediately below (upto Junior Engineer) the post applied for, but presently holding a post not below the level of Additional Assistant Engineer.
5. Resident Engineer: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 2 years) in relevant field in Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector Company. OR (Only for Deputation) Diploma in Civil Engineering. (iv) Appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 5 years) in relevant field as Additional Assistant Engineer (Civil) and/or Junior Engineer in Govt./ Semi Govt./ Public Sector Company.
6. Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering with appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 2 years).
7. Junior Engineer (E&M): Diploma in Electrical Engineering with appropriate post qualification experience (minimum 2 years).

Age Limit for Engineer & Other Jobs

On Deputation: Must have minimum 3 years residual service on the date for receiving application

On Contract:

• For Post No 1: 57 years
• For Post No 2: 50 years
• For Post No 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7: 42 years
