Vacancy details

1. Primary and Upper Primary Teacher (Elementary Education) Group ‘B’: 170 posts

a. Primary Teacher (Elementary Education): Class I- Class V

b. Upper Primary Teacher (Elementary Education): Class VI- Class VIII

Classification: Group ‘B’, Non- Gazette, Non- Ministerial, General Central Service posts

Pay Scale: Pay Band- 2 of Rs.9300- 34800 with Grade Pay of Rs.4200 per month.

Eligibility Criterion

Maximum Age limit: 30 years

Qualifications:

For primary teacher: Senior Secondary or equivalent and 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education/ 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education) AND TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified.

For upper primary teacher: B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education/ one year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)/ one year B.Ed. (Special Education) OR Senior Secondary or equivalent and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/ 4 year B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com.Ed. or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc./ B.Com.Ed  AND TET (Teacher Eligibility Test) qualified.

Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
