- Junior Engineer (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering awarded by an Institution or University established by law in India/ the Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh. (b) National Certificate in Civil Engineering awarded by All India Council of Technical Education. (c) Three years diploma in Civil and Rural Engineering by the Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh
- Junior Engineer (Mechanical): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering awarded by an Institution or University established by law in India/ Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. (b) National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering awarded by All India Council of Technical Education.
- Junior Engineer Agriculture: Three years Diploma in Agriculture Engineering from a institute recognized by Technical Education Board Government of U.P. or any equivalent qualification recognized by Govt. which is approved by A.I.C.T.E. which is must.
- Technical Assistant (Civil), Junior Engineer (Civil): Three years diploma in Civil Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh
- Surveyor (Civil): Diploma in Civil Survey Engineering from the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh
Application Fee
- Unreserved (General)/ Other Backward Class: Exam fee Rs. 200/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 15/-
- Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe: Exam fee Rs. 80/- + On-line processing fee Rs. 15/-
- Handicapped: Exam fee NIL + On-line processing fee Rs. 15/-

The candidates have to visit the commission’s website, www.uppsc.up.nic.in for applying online. The last date for applying online is 24 January 2014. The printout of the completely filled application in the prescribed format must reach to the commission before or on 03 February 2014.
