Uttaranchal Gramin Bank Recruitment for Various Posts 2011

Uttaranchal Gramin Bank was established on June 30th 2006 vide Gazette Notification dated 30.06.2006 issued by Govt. of India and has its head office at Dehradun. The bank's area of operation is extended in the districts of Dehradun, Tehri, Uttarakashi, Haridwar, Pauri, Chamoli, Rudraprayag of Garhwal Division, and district Pithoragarh and Champawat of Kumaun Division in Uttarakhand. It invites application from eligible candidates for the posts mentioned below.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

• Officer Scale I: Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is essential and knowledge of English is required; Preference will be given to candidates with Computer Knowledge.
• Office Assistant: Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in any discipline or its equivalent. Proficiency in local language i.e. Hindi is essential and knowledge of English is required; Preference will be given to candidates with Computer Knowledge.

Age Limit (as on 31 October 2010): Between 18 years and 28 years (for both posts)

Pay Scale

• Pay Scale for JM Scale-I: Rs 14,500- 600/7-18700- 700/2- 20100- 800/7- 25700
• Pay Scale for Office Assistant: 7200-400/3-8400-500/3-9900-600/4-12300- 700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300

Application Fee: Application fee is Rs 325 for General and OBC category candidates and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-servicemen candidates is Rs 75.

Candidate should download one of the Challan Formats (as applicable to them for the post applied for) from the Bank's website http://www.uttaranchalbank.in/ After filling up the required information on the form, they should make payment of the fee aplicable to them in any branch of either Uttaranchal Gramin Bank or State Bank of India and should keep the ‘Candidate's Copy' of the Challan with receipt of fees duly acknowledged thereon.

Selection Procedure: The eligible candidates will be called for written test and interview.

How to Apply

‘Candidate's Copy' of the Challan with receipt of fees duly acknowledged thereon, with them for producing the same at the time of written test along with the latest passport size photograph pasted on the Challan and signed across by the candidate. Candidates claiming fee concession should also enclose photocopy of the relevant category certificate, along with the Challan.

Important Note: Candidates will not be permitted to appear at the written test without production of this Challan and Photograph.
