Age Limit

• The candidate’s age should be between 18 to 35 years as on 5 April 2014.
• The age relaxation will be given according to the Govt. Rules and Regulations.

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Professor: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent with Good academic record and should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
• Associate Professor: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent with Good academic record, should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Professor: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent with Good academic record, should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Principal: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent with Good academic record, should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline.
• Programmer: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent.
• Physical Education Director: Ph.D. in Physical Education.
• Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with minimum 55% marks.
• Assistant Librarian: Master Degree in Library Science or Information Science or Documentation or an equivalent professional degree with minimum 55% marks.
• System Analyst: BE/B.Tech, and M.E.,/M.Tech, in relevant subject or equivalent with 5 years experience in programming and system development.

Application Fee

Candidates have to pay Demand Draft of Rs. 1,000/-(for SC/ST/Cat-I Rs. 500/- only) towards processing fee in favour of Finance Officer, Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.
