Eligibility Criteria for WBPSC Recruitment 2012

Educational Qualification

• Inspector of Factories (Medical): Diploma in Industrial Health/ Public Health from a recognised University or Institute or its equivalent
• Veterinary Officer in Block Animal Health Centre: Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognised University or its equivalent
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical): BE/ BTech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University/ Institute or its equivalent

Age Limit (as on 1 January 2012)

• Inspector of Factories (Medical): Maximum 35 years
• Veterinary Officer in Block Animal Health Centre: Maximum 32 years
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Maximum 32 years

Note: The ability to read, write and speak Bengali language is an essential qualification for all the candidates

Pay Scale for the designated Posts

• Inspector of Factories (Medical): Rs 15600- 42000 + 6600 Grade Pay
• Veterinary Officer in Block Animal Health Centre: Rs 15600- 42000 + 5400 Grade Pay
• Assistant Engineer (Electrical): Rs 15600- 42000 + 5400 Grade Pay

Selection Procedure for WBPSC Recruitment 2012

The candidates will be selected on the basis of the Written Test/ Screening Test (whichever is applicable) to be conducted by the authoritative body.
