Candidates who are fresh graduates of various engineering colleges around the country and are wondering where to move next as they want to get themselves land into government job should focus on banking preparation. Those candidates who have not been picked up by top companies at the recruitment drive held in their colleges and those who do not want to be in the private sector should work their way out in order to get into the government sector. There is not at all any reason to think that a fancy B.E or B. Tech degree could only land you into private sector but there are scopes for government sector jobs like banking and other PSU’s as well.

Banking has turned out to be an easy choice amongst these candidates who have passed their Engineering degree from Computer Science branch and are willing to join the government job sector. These students can either pursue higher studies or start preparing for the government sector jobs in order to grab the opportunities at various nationalized banks every year. The banks often take out recruitment notice regarding appointment of IT officers under Specialist Officers recruitment for various banking requirements. The overall digitalization of the core banking solution and dependence of banks over the computers has given rise to positions for talented people from the Computer Science segment. Thousands of candidates who have passed their Engineering Degrees from various colleges and institutions can apply for these Specialist Officers/IT Officers or Probationary Officer posts.

CSE is one such stream that prepares the candidates in the computer science and enables them to get acquainted with latest hardware and software information needed for the problem solving at various organizations. Apart from banking there are other sectors in the government as well which needs their efficiency in work and their knowledge about the machinery. Hence, the prospect of these fresh graduates remains quite high.

The candidates having passed their B.E. from CSE branch should focus on preparing for the banking examination as it offers the necessary job security and provision for better future, which is missing in most of the private organization jobs at the current economic scenario of the country. It is advisable to take note of the tips and strategies to prepare for the written examination of the banking exams conducted by various recruitment bodies over the year. It is very important to get a clear idea about the syllabus and consequent preparation should be started once the candidates have made their minds to join growing banking sector.
