The engineering aspirants who have taken JEE Main Examination on 2, 8 and 9 April 2017 are haunted by the question,“What to do after JEE Main results?”  It has nerve wrecking and stressful feelings. The answer to this question depend totally on JEE Main Score Card and All India rank list. There are two clear scenarios; either the student is selected in JEE Main 2017 examination or not. We will discuss what to be done in both scenario one by one.

Scenario 1: If the candidate is selected in JEE Main Examination he should prepare with the following options.

(i) If he gets into top 1.2 lakh candidates, then he get the chance to appear for JEE Advanced. In that case he should pace his preparation for the JEE Advanced Examination and should consult with subject experts, teachers and mentors regarding tips to prepare for this examination. Cracking JEE Advanced Examination is the only way to get into IITs so, this exam is very important for any engineering aspirant.

(ii) If you have qualified JEE Main but missed the cut-off required to appear for JEE Advanced, then you should prepare for JEE Main Counselling. There are possibilities to get good engineering college based on your JEE Main score.

Scenario 2: If the candidate is not selected in JEE Main Examination then he should go with following options:

(i) If you could not perform well in JEE Main Examination and did not score qualifying mark in the examination, then you should focus more on state/university level engineering entrance exams. Some exams are over now but some exams are still to come. If you have already taken some examination and expect to perform well in these state/university level engineering entrance examinations, then you should gear up for counseling procedure and if the exam is still to come then you should not loose a single minute of preparation as these exams are going to be very crucial for you.
