Eligibility Criteria for JRF, SRF, JPF & Junior Technical Assistant Posts

Educational Qualification

Junior Research Fellow - Master’s degree in Wildlife Biology / Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental

Science/ Life Sciences with 60% aggregated marks and above from a recognized university.

Junior Technical Assistant - Bachelors’ Degree in any discipline with 60% aggregated marks and above

from a recognized university.

Junior Project Fellow – Bird- Master’s degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental

Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Junior Project Fellow – HWC - Master’s degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology/ Forestry/ Environmental

Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Junior Project Fellow- Human Ecology - Master’s Degree in Wildlife Sciences/ Forestry/ Environmental Sciences or Management/ Life Sciences/ Biodiversity and Conservation/ Natural Resource Management with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Senior Research Fellow - Masters’ in Wildlife Sciences/Zoology/Life Sciences/Forestry/Environmental

Management or any other subject related to biodiversity and conservation with a minimum aggregate score of 60%.

Age Limit

  • Junior Research Fellow – 28 years
  • Senior Research Fellow – 32 years
  • Junior Project Fellow – 30 years
  • Junior Technical Assistant - 26 years
  • Junior Project Fellow –HWC- 30 years

Application Fee- Rs. 500/-

Applicants can apply online up to 7 July 2017. Applicants who wish to apply for more than one project, required to login again to apply for the second project. The admit card for qualifying test will be sent latest by email by 12 July 2017 before the Entrance Exam Date (16 July 2017).
