Xavier School of Management (XLRI) School of Business and Human Resources completed its Summer Internship Placements 2016 in two and half days. The first batch (2016-18) comprising of 361 students has secured 100% placement.
The SIP internship programme witnessed participation of 92 companies offering 156 roles across domains including consulting, finance, sales and marketing, operations, business development (BM), human resources (HR) and industrial relations (IR). In addition, for the first time there were 21 who participated in the recruitment process and offered 28 roles across various domains.
Earlier the institute was in news for earning accreditation by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for its flagship management and doctoral programmes. This is the second coveted international accreditation for XLRI after Association of MBAs (AMBA). XLRI received AMBA in 2015. As per the ‘India Ranking Report 2016’ released by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry, XLRI has been ranks 13 among the top 100 management colleges.
