COMEDK UGET 2018 Eligibility Criteria
The qualifying examinations prescribed for admission for B.E. / B. Arch is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State/Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
The General Merit candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in respect of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka State) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses as one of the optional subjects. However, changes, if any, in the eligibility criteria by the AICTE will be adopted.
The candidate shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December (31-12-2018) of the year of admission to the MBBS / BDS course.
An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.
For Admission in UG Engineering Courses through COMEDK UGET 2018

For Admission in UG Architecture Courses through COMEDK UGET 2018
- The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% in the case of SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka).
- The candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 marks for both General Merit and Category students.
About COMEDK Exam
COMEDK is popularly known as Consortium of Medical, engineering, and Dental college of Karnataka and the examinations for the same shall be held in May next year. The test provides admission to the students in post graduate courses of medical or dental in its 12 medical and dental institutions.
All these examinations comprise of eligibility criteria which is important for the students to follow and abide by;
To be able to appear for these examinations the candidates should fulfil the set eligibility criteria. Applicants should have successfully passed their MBBS/BDS from an institution which is recognized by MCI/DCI. An internship should have completed or is due to be completed by April 30th 2017. Also a permanent registration should have been obtained with MCI/DCI or any of the state Medical/Dental council.
As far as the examination pattern is concerned the test will comprise of two papers for both medical and dental programs. The test will be multiple choices in nature with the total duration of 180 minutes. The paper does not have negative marking and each right answer is credited with one mark each.
Interested candidates can apply online on the official website by filling applications in the prescribed format along with the application fee of Rs 2250 drawn in favour of COMEDK from the nationalized banks.
These examinations include fierce competition for undergraduate medical seats academic year and it was evident as the first round counselling COMEDK. The counselling was held for those who were assigned ranks after clearing the Undergraduate entrance test for admissions to private quota seats in 14 medical, 25 dental, and 160 engineering colleges in state.
