CCSR Submitted Reports

A government-appointed panel that was asked to review the balance of power between the central and state governments submitted its report to Home Minister P. Chidambaram on 19 April 2010. The UPA government constituted the Centre-State Relations (CCSR) in April 2007 under the leadership of Justice (retd) Madan Mohan Punchhi.

The UPA government constituted the Centre-State Relations (CCSR) in April 2007 under the leadership of Justice (retd) Madan Mohan Punchhi. The panel was asked to and submitted recommendations on subjects like the sharing of funds between the central and state governments, the role of the central government during caste and communal conflicts, and the planning and implementation of big projects such as the interlinking of rivers.
