CUCET 2022 Participating Universities: National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Central Universities -Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2022 for admission to the Integrated/Under-Graduate (UI) and Post-Graduation (PG) Programmes of 14 Central Universities for the academic session 2022-23 in CBT mode. Delhi University and Jawaharlal Nehru University are also expected to join CUCET 2022 Exam. The CUCET 2022 Application will open from the 3rd week of March 2022 (Tentative). Interested and eligible candidates will undergo a Computer Based Test (CBT) which will be held in June 2022 (Tentative). What is CU-CET 2022?
NTA has been assigned the responsibility of conducting Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2022 for admission to Integrated/Under Graduate (UI) Programmes and Post-graduation (PG) Programmes of 14 Central Universities for the Academic Session 2022-23. This all-India test is being organized by 14 Central Universities for admission to UI and PG in these Universities/Institute(s). It provides a single-window opportunity to the students to seek admission in these Participating Universities (PU) across the country.
CUCET 2022 Participating Universities
In this article, we have shared the CUCET 2022 Participating Universities that includes a list of CUCET Colleges/ Universities. Central Universities or Union Universities in India are established by an Act of Parliament and are under the purview of the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of Education. In general, Universities in India are recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) which draws its power from the University Grants Commission Act, 1956. In 15 Professional Councils are established that control different aspects of accreditation and coordination. Central Universities are covered by covered by the Central Universities Act 2009.

Prospective CUCET Participating Universities expected to join fold
As per media reports, the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) and Delhi University (DU) have announced that National Testing Agency (NTA) will be conducting the Central Universities - Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2022 for admission to the Integrated/Under-Graduate (UI) and Post-Graduation (PG) Programmes JNU & DU for the academic session 2022-23. From this academic year onward, JNU and DU will be adopting the CUCET which has been the common entrance test for 12 Central Universities till now. The CUCET Exam will be held in online mode in Computer-Based Mode that will assess the students on their Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, and Verbal Ability.
The number of prospective CUCET Participating Universities to adopt CUCET is expected to increase to provide equal opportunity to all the students while reducing the burden of taking several entrance exams and the universities as well in conducting a fair in assessing the students.
