The Golden Globe Awards honour excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign. In 2025, "The Brutalist" won Best Motion Picture—Drama, with Adrien Brody earning Best Actor for his role in the film. 

"Emilia Pérez" secured Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy, and Zoe Saldaña received Best Supporting Actress. 

Demi Moore was awarded Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy for "The Substance." In television, "Shōgun" was named Best Drama Series, with Anna Sawai winning Best Actress in a Drama Series. 

"Hacks" took home Best Comedy Series, and Jean Smart won Best Actress in a Comedy Series. Special honours went to Viola Davis, who received the Cecil B. DeMille Award, and Ted Danson, who was honoured with the Carol Burnett Award.
