IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony: The Indian Premier League, or IPL 2024, is a domestic cricket league held annually in India. Held in T20 format, 10 franchises, each representing different cities of this diverse nation, go up against each other to win the trophy. 

The IPL 2024, which will mark the 17th edition of the tournament, will kick off on March 22, 2024, with the opening match between two of the league’s favourite teams, the Chennai Super Kings and the Royal Challengers Bangalore. The match will take place at CSK’s home ground, the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium, also known as the Chepauk Stadium.

The IPL 2024 opening ceremony is going to be a dazzling spectacle, as top Bollywood stars will be joining the stage with the legendary cricketers.

Bollywood actors Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff will be performing at the opening ceremony. Additionally, Hindi musical icons, AR Rahman and Sonu Nigam will bewitch the audiences with their musical performances.

The opening ceremony of the IPL 2024 will be held at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The opening match between CSK and RCB will also take place at the venue.

The IPL 2024 opening ceremony will start at 6:00 p.m. IST on March 22, 2024. The toss for the opening match will take place after the ceremony has ended.

The IPL 2024 Opening Ceremony will be aired live on the Star Sports Network and JioCinema. 

The opening ceremony will be broadcast on television on these channels:

Star Sports 1, Star Sports 1 HD, Star Sports 1 Hindi, Star Sports 1 Hindi HD, Star Sports 1 Kannada, Star Sports 1 Telugu, Star Sports 1 Tamil, Star Gold, and Star Gold HD.
