PM Modi Announcement in 2024: Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a 10-day visit to 12 states and union territories (UTs) across the length and breadth of the country to attend 29 programmes. PM Modi, during his visits, has made significant announcements, shaping the nation's trajectory. PM Modi 10-Day Event Schedule

PM Modi's Announcement In Telangana

• PM Modi today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for Rs 56,000 crore worth of development projects in Telangana's Adilabad. 
• Over 30 projects were unveiled linked to electricity, the environment, & roadways.
• He laid the foundation for two new national highways in Adilabad, Bela, and Mulugu.
• Dedicated NTPC’s 800 MW (Unit-2) Telangana Super Thermal Power Project in Peddapalli, Telangana.
• Inaugurated ReNew’s Koppal-Narendra Transmission Scheme for the evacuation of 2500 MW of power from renewable energy. This inter-state transmission scheme is located in the Koppal district of Karnataka. Other power sector-related projects by Damodar Valley Corporation and IndiGrid will also be inaugurated by the Prime Minister.
• The Prime Minister dedicated the newly electrified Ambari-Adilabad-Pimphalkhuti rail line to the nation. 

PM Modi’s Announcement in Odisha

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched multiple development projects worth over Rs 19,600 crore in Odisha's Jajpur district on Tuesday.
• The projects that were launched are related to different sectors, including oil and gas, railways, roads, transport, highways, and atomic energy.
• He will inaugurate Indian Oil Corp's monoethylene glycol facility at the Paradip Refinery, a 344-km-long product pipeline from Paradip to Haldia in West Bengal, and a 0.6-MMTPA LPG import facility at Paradip.
• The PM will dedicate to the nation the 162-km-long Bansapani-Daitari-Tomka-Jakhapura rail line. 
• He also laid the foundation of the eight-lane Chandikhole-Paradip Road.
• A CONCOR container depot in Kalinga Nagar was also inaugurated by Modi, along with a 5-MLD seawater desalination plant.

PM Modi’s Announcement in West Bengal

• PM Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple projects in the rail and road sectors worth more than Rs 4500 crore in West Bengal.
• He flagged off a new passenger train service between Siliguri and Radhikapur.
• Also laid the foundation for two national highway projects worth Rs 3,100 crore.

PM Modi’s Announcement For Jammu & Kashmir

• During his first visit to the Kashmir Valley after the abrogation of Article 370 in August 2019, PM Modi unveiled multiple development projects worth more than Rs 6,400 crore.
• He inaugurated initiatives worth nearly Rs 5,000 crore for boosting the agri-economy in the Union Territory.
• He also announced nationwide projects related to the tourism sector worth more than Rs 1,400 crore under the 'Swadesh Darshan' and 'PRASHAD' (Pilgrimage Rejuvenation and Spiritual, Heritage Augmentation Drive) schemes, including a project for the integrated development of the Hazratbal shrine in Srinagar.
• Other than this, he also kept laying the groundwork for the Dekho Apna Desh People's Choice Tourist Destination Poll' and the 'Chalo India Global Diaspora campaign, besides announcing tourist destinations selected under the Challenge-Based Destination Development (CBDD) scheme.

PM Modi’s Announcement in Arunachal Pradesh

• He laid the foundation stone for multiple development projects worth Rs 55,600 crore in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh.
• The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the Dibang Multipurpose Hydropower Project in Arunachal Pradesh.
• PM Modi dedicated the Sela Tunnel to the nation to provide all weather connectivity to Tawang.
• During his visit, he also launched the UNNATI scheme, worth about Rs 10,000 crore.
• Along with the inauguration of Sabroom Land Port to facilitate the movement of passengers and cargo between India and Bangladesh, PM Modi also released a coffee table book - Building Viksit Arunachal.

PM Modi’s Announcement in Uttar Pradesh

• The PM inaugurates, dedicates, and lays the foundation stone of multiple development initiatives worth more than Rs 34,000 crore in Azamgarh.
• PM Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for new terminal buildings at 15 airports across the country.
• He inaugurated Light House Projects (LHP) in Lucknow and Ranchi.
• Promised to strengthen rail and road infrastructure in UP with projects worth more than Rs 19,000 crore. 
• PM Modi dedicates about 744 rural road projects under PMGSY worth more than Rs 3700 crore in UP.

PM Modi’s Announcement in Delhi/Haryana

• The PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 112 national highway projects for different states worth about Rs. 1 lakh crore.
• He also inaugurated the 19-kilometer-long Haryana section of the Dwarka Expressway.
• PM Modi also inaugurated 9.6-km-long, six-lane Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II)-Package 3 from Nangloi-Najafgarh Road to Sector 24 Dwarka section in Delhi.

PM Modi’s Announcement in Gujarat/Assam

• Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch railway infrastructure projects in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
• During his visit to the Sabarmati Ashram, he also inaugurated the Kochrab Ashram and launched the master plan for the Gandhi Ashram Memorial.
• He laid the foundation stone for various developmental projects valued at over Rs. 85,000 crore.
• PM Modi will launch two new sections of the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) - New Khurja to Sahnewal (Eastern DFC) and New Makarpura to New Gholvad (Western DFC).
• The prime minister will flag off ten new Vande Bharat trains and extend four existing Vande Bharat trains.
• He will launch projects for the restoration and conservation of 36 existing buildings, including Gandhi's residence, ‘Hriday Kunj.’

On his last day of schedule, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth about Rs 55,600 crore in Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, and Arunachal Pradesh. Thereafter, PM Modi will reach Jorhat and unveil the magnificent statue of renowned Ahom general Lachit Borphukan. He will also participate in a public programme to lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth more than Rs 17,500 crore in Assam.
