Mahatma Gandhi was the visionary of 20th century who changed the perception that British supremacy can never be challenged. Born on 2nd October 1869, he fought unarmed against an empire which was the superpower of that era. He combined the personal cause with the national cause and made a strong appeal for the equality, a society free from racial bias and prejudices.
Mahatma Gandhi’s struggle was not for a regime-change but for a perception-change. He was against any kind of discrimination based on caste, creed, colour or race. Despite, fighting against the British regime, he held no bias or hatred against any Englishman.
