Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF): Medical humanitarian organisation

The Medicines Sans Frontiers (MSF) is an international humanitarian-aid organisation of those Doctors whose realm of working is borderless. It works basically in those areas or regions that faces endemic diseases and war torn areas.

It was founded on 20th December 1971 in France after Biafra Succession for providing medical care in respective of race, religion, creed and political affiliation. The working areas of the organisation moving around delivering medical services quickly, effectively and impartially during emergency occurs due to war and natural calamities (famine, drought, flooding, earth quakes) like situation.

• Armed Conflict: The MSF appearance during armed conflict is like shower of relief for the victims of harassment, violent attack, rape or murder and displacement. The team of MSF work for moving and open clinic at war zone areas for medical treatments and providing nutrition, epidemic control and mental health.

• Natural Disasters: MSF provides medical facilities, psychological as well as physiological support and relief items (like- blankets, tents, cooking materials etc.)

• Endemic Diseases: MSF is one of the humanitarian organisations who also work and provides medical assistance when the outbreak of disease like cholera, measles, HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, Ebola or Marburg and meningitis which have fatal affects.

• Social Violence: MSF also work on those areas for medical, psychological and social support to the people who are cut-off due to riot like situation.
