According to media reports, Calcutta University has released the postgraduate (PG) final semester exam result 2020. Candidates who have appeared for the PG Final semester examinations 2020 can visit the official website to check the results. The Results of Calcutta University PG Final Semester exams will include the marks secured by the students and the qualifying status in the final examinations.
Calcutta University Vice-Chancellor Sonali Chakravarti Banerjee while speaking to the media shared that the University has tried its best attempt to meet the deadline of 31st October to release Result. According to the data available in the media, approximately 7500 candidates appeared for the exam and the result has shown a similar trend that reflected in 2019.
Rabindra Bharati University (RBU) Result
Along with Calcutta University, Rabindra University has also released the results of the Postgraduate programmes. As per media reports, the university has released the results for the postgraduate programmes in economics, geography, instrumental music, percussion, drama, maths and social work.
The university has also released the results for the undergraduate programmes in Visual Arts. one of the officials from the university in a statement has added that most of the universities will commence PG admissions from November 2020 onwards and in order to meet the deadline of admission, it was important to publish the results.
The examinations for the final semester students for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses were conducted as per the government set guidelines. Since the exams were to be conducted during the COVID-19 pandemic, the colleges were asked by the University Grants Commission to conduct the exams in the online, offline or in both the modes as per the convenience of the students of the university.
