Chhattisgarh Board Exams 2025: Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has announced the CGBSE class 10, and 12 practical exam dates. Students appearing for the board exams can check the complete schedule of the practical exams here.
According to the dates announced, the Chhattisgarh Board will be conducting the 10th and 12th practicals from January 10 to 31, 2025. The exams will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will be held in the morning from 8 am to 11 am while shift 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates will be issued their shift timings and details by the respective schools.
According to the official notification issued, the CGBSE 10th and 12th practical exam/ project work for regular students will be conducted in respective institutions from January 10 to 31, 2025. The subject teachers and students will be informed of the dates of the practical exam/ project works by the board.
It must also be noted that students absent from practical exams will not be granted special permission under any circumstances nor will the exam be rescheduled. Students will be marked absent in such cases and the responsibility will lie with the school principal and the concerned student.

CGBSE Practical Exam 2025 Arrangements to be Made
- Schools must ensure that the practicals are conducted by the external examiner appointed by the board within the designated time.
- Practical exams should not be conducted by any voluntarily appointed external. Such exams will not be considered valid under any circumstances.
- Externals will be appointed by the board and schools must contact the examiner to confirm the date for the practical exam.
- If the examiner is unavailable schools must obtain a written explanation from them and contact the district coordination agency to make alternative arrangements and complete the exams as per instructions.
- Internal examinations will be appointed at the institutional level and the subject teachers in the institution will be appointed as internal examiners.
- For project work, no external examiner will be appointed and will be organised at the institutional level within the specified time.
- Unused answer sheets from previous years should be used for the practical exams and if there is a shortage, arrangements should be made at the local level.
- After the completion of the practical exam/ project work the list of obtained marks should be signed by the external examiner and the institution principal. The list must be packed in exam-specific/ subject-specific envelopes sealed and the answer sheets should be bundled.
