Candidates who appeared for the GATE 2018 test can view their results on the official website i.e. gate.iitg.ac.in.
The exams for GATE 2018 were conducted on February 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2018 in computer based mode across India and abroad.
The score card of qualified candidates will be available from 20 March. The candidates can check their results directly by logging on to the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS).

The official answer keys and question papers of GATE 2018 were released on February 19, 2018 by IIT Guwahati. GATE's score is valid for three years from the date of publishing of result.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level Post Graduate entrance examination for seeking admission to M.E./M.Tech and Ph.D. programmes at IITs, IISc, NITs, GFTIs and other Universities in India.
Qualifying GATE is a mandatory requirement for seeking admission and/or financial assistance to Master's programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering or Technology or Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. Further, many Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have been using the GATE score in their recruitment process.
