Jamia Millia Admission Registration 2020: Online Application Date for university and school admissions extended till 4th May

Jamia Millia Islamia Admission 2020: As per latest repors, Jamia Millia Islamia has decided to extend the application dates or timeline for admission to 2020-21 session until 4th May 2020. The admission dates have been extended for both university as well as school admission for the students due to national lockdown until 3rd May 2020. To confirm the news, the varsity released a detailed notification which confirms that the online application deadline for admission to various courses offered by the Jamia Millia Islamia University and school has been extended. The extension in online application dates comes following MHA guidelines for extended lockdown that ordered closure of all educational institutions across the country.

2^nd Extension in Application Timeline

This is the second time that an extension has been granted due to coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, thee online application process for JMI Admission 2020 was extended until 15^th April 2020 in the light of the nation-wide lockdown announced by the central government due to Coronavirus pandemic. From this year, JMI had launched an online admissions portal for students seeking admission to various programmes being offered by the university. Currently, the online admission application process is going on for all UG,PG, PG Diploma, Advance Diploma, Diploma and MPhil/PhD programmes offered by the university. The online application forms for Jamia Admission 2020 are available on the official portals at www.jmi.ac.in and www.jmicoe.in.

Helpline for COVID-19

In line with the UGC guidelines, Jamia Millia Islamia University has also launched an official COVID-19 helpline for the students. The helpline will address students’ queries related to their academic future and other concerns related to lockdown period and COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to this, the university is also expected to launch a series of webinars for its staff and faculty members to train them to continue the learning process through online learning and digital platforms.
