According to the schedule provided on the official website of IIT Kharagpur, the JEE Advanced 2021 examinations are scheduled to be conducted on October 3, 2021. The date of the examination was announced by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
According to the schedule provided on the official website, the JEE Advanced 2021 exams will be conducted in two sessions for Paper 1 and 2, the JEE Advanced 2021 Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12 Noon and Paper 2 will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
Since being conducted amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, all the appropriate measures will be taken when conducting the examinations. The JEE Advanced 2021 examinations were earlier scheduled to be conducted on June 25, 2021, but were postponed to July 3, 2021. The exams were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates appearing for the JEE Advanced examinations can visit the official website of IIT Kharagpur to check the details regarding the examination.
Students appearing for the exams are advised to visit the official website to check the information brochure released by the conducting board. According to the rules given, students are not permitted to appear for the JEE Advanced exams more than twice a year.
Considering the pandemic the Union Education Minister had announced that the candidates are no longer required to have a minimum of 75 percent marks in the board exams and interested students can now appear for the exams. The decision was taken in order to reduce the academic burden on the students amidst the pandemic.
The JEE Advanced examinations are conducted for the admissions to the Engineering programmes and integrated Masters programmes in Engineering, Science and Architecture offered by the Indian institutes of Technology in the country.
