In the female category, Gujarat girl Shabnam Sahay has secured the top spot. Shabnam has secured AIR 10 in the overall rank list.

JEE Advanced 2019 Live Updated @ 4:20 PM: Students vent out onTwitter
With no intimation or updates from IIT Roorkee, candidates and their parents who have been waiting for the results, have taken to twitter to vent out their frustration. Some of them have also tagged PMO and HRD minister to appraise them of the delay in publication of the results.

Even after three hours of the formal declaration, the jeeadv.ac.in - official website for JEE Advanced 2019 is not working. IIT Roorkee - the organizing institute has put up a new disclaimer saying that JEE Advanced Results 2019 will be made available to the students at 4 PM in the evening.

JEE Advanced 2019 Live Updated @ 10:05 AM: Tie-breaker rule Formula
In case, any two candidates score the same number of marks in the JEE Advanced 2019 exam, a tie-breaker formula will be applied award ranks to the candidates. The tie-breaker formula works in the following way:
- If aggregate / overall marks are same, candidate with higher positive marks will be awarded a higher rank
- If the tie still persists, Candidate with higher marks in Mathematics will be awarded a higher rank
- If the tie still persists, candidate with higher marks in Physics will be awarded a higher rank
- If the tie still persists, both candidates will be awarded the same rank.

In 2018, a total of 2,31,024 were shortlisted to appear in the JEE Advanced 2019 Exam, on the basis of their JEE Mains Score. After the declaration of IIT JEE Advanced Results 2019, Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will hold the seat allotment and counselling rounds. JEE Advanced 2019 Live Updated @ 9:19 AM: All India Rank List Shortly
Along with declaring individual results for the candidates, IIT Roorkee will also release the All India Rank List for the JEE Advanced 2019 Exam today. JEE Advanced Rank List 2019 will be released for all categories i.e. for General, SC, ST, OBC and PwD candidates. Candidates will be informed about the declaration of rank list through text messages. However, individual rank cards will not be sent to them.

According to the information shared by exam conducting authority, the JEE Advanced 2019 Rank List is compiled on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the exam. Aggregate marks scored by candidates in key subjects are taken into consideration for preparation of the rank list. The authority only considers marks scored by candidates in key subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to prepare the JEE Advanced 2019 Rank List.
Candidates will also be informed about the release of the JEE Advanced Result 2019 on their registered email id and mobile number. A direct link to check the JEE Advanced 2019 result will also be made available below once the results have been released on the official website.

- Step 2: Click on JEE Advanced 2019 Result Link on the hompage
- Step 3: Enter the required login details
- Step 4: Your JEE Advanced 2019 Result will be displayed on the screen
- Step 5: Download and print a copy of your result for future reference
The counselling and the seat allotment process for the JEE Advanced 2019 will be commencing from June 19, 2019 and will go on till July 17, 2019. The ranks scored by the candidates in the JEE Advanced 2019 are accepted by all 23 participating IITs for admission to the undergraduate level courses offered by them. Candidates can also apply for admission to Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli (RGIPT), Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc), Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and six Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) based on their IIT JEE Advanced 2019 Results.
