Concerns Raised Over Kerala Plus One Offline Exams
Among other concerns being raised, it is also being said that many students in Tribal, rural and backward areas have been unable to take any online classes. In such a scenario, it is likely that students will not be performing well and Plus One Model exams might just end up being a farce. Hence, it is being requested to the Government that Plus One Exams be postponed so that students can get some more time to prepare after sitting for a few offline classes.
Related Stories
As per media reports, some Teachers' associations are requesting a postponement of these exams, especially Plus One Model exams as students will not be able to take them online due to the existing digital divide. Moreover, these Plus One Model exams are supposed to help students in rectifying their mistakes so that they can perform better in the main Kerala Plus One exams. However, with more than one paper on a day and many students appearing, this idea seems to not benefit students as they might end up learning nothing due to a lack of time.
