KVPY 2021: As per the recent updates, IISc, Bangalore has released the revised exam date of Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVYP). The KVPY 2021 exam is now scheduled to be conducted on 9th January 2022. The authorities have released the KVPY exam date at the official website - kvpy.iisc.ac.in. Earlier, the KVPY exam was scheduled to be held on 7th November 2021, however, it was postponed.
The KVPY official website states, “This is for the information to all those candidates who have registered and paid the fees for the KVPY Aptitude test-2021. The KVPY Aptitude test will now be held on January 9, 2022.”
KVPY 2021 Exam Reason for Postponement
Earlier, the authorities released an official notification stating that “The Honourable High Court of Madras, Madurai bench stayed the KVPY Aptitude Test scheduled on November 07, 2021. We regret to inform you that the KVPY Aptitude Test will not be held on November 07, 2021. Further updates will be available on the website." The KVPY exam was postponed after Madras HC stayed the aptitude test over regional language concerns.
KVPY 2021 Exam Admit Card
The new KVPY Admit Card 2021 will be released soon on the official KVPY website. Students who have successfully completed all their registration process can also download the KVPY admit card 2021. Each student must carry a hard copy of the KVPY admit card 2021 to the examination hall. No student is allowed to enter the exam hall without it.
About Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY)
Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national-level scholarship program for meritorious students to pursue courses in basic sciences such as B.Sc., B. Stat, Integrated M.Sc., and M.S in either Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology. Candidates are selected for the scholarship based on the KVPY exam. All the selected candidates during 1st to 3rd years of UG/PG courses will get Rs. 5,000/Month + Rs. 20000/annum. Whereas during M. Sc. / 4th to 5th years of Integrated M.Sc. /M.S./M.Math./M.Stat. gets Rs.7,000/month + Rs. 28000/annum.
